Why Are NFTs denied?

Curate reviews all NFTs submitted on the platform to maintain a healthy marketplace for all users. The following are possible reasons why an NFT is denied:

  1. Copyright reasons

Images, videos, and other forms of media that are protected by copyright will be denied. Copyrighted images that are slightly altered through an editing software or filter can still be considered a copyright violation. If you have submitted an original work that is available on other platforms, submit proof of work to keep your work from getting denied.

Copyright issues are the most common reason why your NFT is denied even after submitting proof of work. Such instances are:

  • Adding Filters to Copyrighted images. Art generators or filters may be used to alter images as long as they are not protected by copyright, in the public domain, or owned by the creator.
  • Using a cropped version of copyrighted images

2. Does not fit the criteria of artistic skills

Another possible reason for denial is the item not qualifying for the criteria of artistic skills. Selfies and other random low-quality images are commonly denied. We understand that this can be subjective and hence, we encourage the users to reach out to support if they think your item has been denied by mistake for this reason. We try to keep Curate a healthy marketplace for both users and creators which includes keeping quality NFTs on the platform. You may reach out to
